Volunteer Program
Volunteering is part of the kiwi way, we like to help each other even if it’s only in a small way. So at Who Cares House we have embraced that and we are developing a new program to help connect those who want to help with those who need help. Currently this program is still under development but we will keep you updated as things progress.
How It Works
We are still working out the finer details, but essentially the program works by connecting a volunteer with someone who needs their assistance. We want all parties to be conformable which is why we will never force someone to take an job or force a volunteer on someone who isn’t happy with a particular individual.
All volunteers will need to fill out a form stating what kinds of volunteer work they are interested in doing and their availability, pass a police check and complete a short course. After all that is done they will be put onto the roster as available.
